A new year and new books!  What a great way to begin 2015!

We hope you’ll join with the Womens Bible Cafe as we read Christian books in January!  We love learning about Christian authors and discussing the books we read with each other.  At the WBC Book Club, you’ll find a fun place to fellowship, make new friends, share a passion for reading and deepen your faith.

While these selections are available in print, they are also offered in Kindle ebook format for our international guests.  You can find them on Amazon, in Christian bookstores, or even possibly at local library or church library.

Join us as we read and discuss the following books with our Facebook group!  Our theme for January 2015 is Hope.thestorminside

Our non-fiction Book of the Month for January is The Storm Inside: Trade the Chaos of How You Feel for the Truth of Who You Are by Sheila WalshWell-known speaker and author, Sheila Walsh, shares about 10 ‘storms’ women commonly face and how to find the hope of Christ in each of them.

Our Fiction Book of the Month for January is Where Do I Go? by Neta Jackson.  This is the first book in Neta Jacksons’s Yada Yada House of Hope series.  For those who loved the Yada Yada Prayer Group books, we hope you’ll also love reading about the House of Hope!  If you’re reading a Neta Jackson book for the first time, this is a great place to start!  wheredoigo

Looking for a weekly Bible study, as well?  Our Bible Study Group will be offering two studies in January:  What Love Is by Kelly Minter and Covenant by Kay Arthur.

You will start reading your books in January.  There is no specific reading schedule or chapter requirement each week. All you need to do is complete the book and be ready to discuss it during the month. It’s that simple! We meet in a private Facebook group or you can post your comments on our website for discussion; either method is fine.
